Our Journey Called Life

Since I was very little, I have had dreams that have always brought or led me to something. Last night I had a dream that helped me understand the path I’m on. Although I know that it is difficult to explain how it happened precisely, I will try to explain as much as possible as my human mind helps me explain.

The dream went like this:

A group of people and I were waiting to start a trip to the sea. We were going to board a boat, but before we got on board, the boat captain explained everything we were going to experience. He opened the map and explained step by step our journey. There were going to be difficult moments when crossing the sea to reach our destination. That we were going to see a “creature in the sea all the time” and that their presence was to help us move forward, and it was going to create specific experiences in the sea that we were going to be scared of. During that path, we had to make sacrifices, but it was for our own sake. However, not everything was going to be chaos. We were going to experience times when we would find calmness as well.

The group of people was a group of souls who would start a new adventure on Earth. The ship represents everything that surrounds the human experience on Earth, in short, life and the physical plane, and the sea represents what we could not see but what surrounds life and the physical plane and the path we go through. The “creature” was the creator, God, or the source whose existence we were going to know from the beginning, but when we got to Earth, we were going to be afraid of him, and we were going to forget that his only purpose was to help us evolve.

When we started the trip we were no more than 14 people, we were few, and the boat was big. There were different rooms, some more hidden than others, others visible to the naked eye, and others in the open air. We were all together going from one room to another, we were exploring the boat. From one moment to another, the captain tells us that we will reach the area of ”the creature” or the monster. We all get scared, separate, stop being united, and split into groups of 3. I ran with two other people I recognized in this physical plane and have had an inexplicable connection. One of them knew that if we went to the bottom of the ship, the “creature” would not find us, it could touch us a little, but it would not get us out of the boat. There we stayed at the bottom of the boat and formed a kind of braid similar to DNA. Oh, nothing touched us. The water rose, the tide rose, but that creature could not touch us. I got scared from one moment to another, but my friend told me that there was nothing to worry about because we were very safe and comfortable. She only heard everyone screaming and everyone asking for help, but we were there doing nothing. She closed my eyes, and I was on top of the boat for a moment. It was not my physical body but my consciousness that had expanded to witness that moment where everyone fled from the “creature” or that monster we were afraid of. However, I did not see it, and I only saw that there was a fortress waiting for us in front of that ship. I just wondered, why couldn’t I see that monster? Why does everything look different than how we are experiencing it?

I closed my eyes again and returned to my body. At that moment, I heard the captain say we entered a calm zone. I saw how the water where I was located with my two friends was going down. I took advantage and left, but my friends decided to stay where they were. I realized that I recognized three people in this life without having them hidden. They were there exposed to the creature, but nothing happened to them. However, minutes later, we entered that danger zone again, and they were dragged into the sea by that creature, which I again did not get to see. They just left. I was nervous, I was afraid, why were they going? Why couldn’t I know what pulled them into the sea?

That’s when I realized that the places where we hid were not rooms but rather our own beliefs in which we took refuge in fear of that creature, God. We separated in views from each other, and the point of that trip was to remember that we traveled together and should not be separated, but fear won, and each of us looked only after our own salvation no matter what happened to the other members. And those who did not decide to choose a belief had decided to be in the middle because they understood that if they ran away or hid from that “creature,” they would not see the truth that awaited them later.

From one moment to another, I saw the captain of the ship proceeding to release a rope hanging from the sky, he did not see what was hanging, but he saw that he was going to climb that rope and release it to continue advancing. It was a bump in the road. My body rises, and I approach the captain, floating there in front of him. When the captain proceeded to release the rope, a woman approached and tried to cut the rope so that the captain would sink with her. The creature came out of the sea and presented itself to the woman, the captain and me. It was not what I expected to see. I thought I would see something that scared me because that was what we felt for that creature, but no. It was a being that I will not be able to explain in words because it is something that I have never seen with my human eyes. I only know that it was a light of a color that I had never seen. It proceeded to the woman and the captain and told them: “You cannot take the captain out of his ship; you cannot sacrifice him to continue advancing because they are not going to get where they have to go.” It called a truce between the woman and the captain and allowed us to proceed without its presence at sea.

I understood that the woman represented the darkness, and the captain represented the light. And for me, the light at that moment was Jesus, the teacher. And the reason why it was decided to call a truce was that, without light in our physical life, we couldn’t get where we needed to be. And light and darkness are required to be present for us to reach that destination because the two are one and coexist in our lives.

We proceeded on our way, and only I remained there in the middle of the boat. The others were in their rooms hidden, and they could not see what I saw. We arrived on land, and I proceeded to call the rest of them and tell them we were safe. When I got off the boat, I realized that I had reached a new beginning, a new place where we had to procreate. In that place, I had seen those three people that I saw who went to the sea. I saw them, and we hugged. I told them how much I loved them and that I thought I had lost them and then they told me: “we had to do it because there we saw the true truth.”

They were right. They were the ones who remained in the balance. They did not decide to choose any belief but were willing to face and to see beyond without hiding at all costs. They saw everything. They were the ones who remembered our journey and realized that there was no creature in the water, which is why they decided to “sacrifice themselves” to the creature in the sea. That is to say, they decided to see further with their own eyes what the spiritual life and the sea were going to show them, that is why they first arrived at the other place where we were all going to come.

Life is a journey and we come in groups of different souls. Before we reincarnated on this planet, we had been given our “joint mission” in our life, and our purpose is to remember our unity. No matter our age, our background, or the place where we are born, we are all the same. However, when we come to the planet we forget everything, but the creature is the one who is there to “alter our path” to make us see and transcend, but our fears seclude us in our own thoughts and beliefs. In that path, we need to remain together, and to not separate from each other, we need to maintain calm and remember that unity and love are what we are made of. Also, the duality needs to be part of our journey because it is the one that helps us evolve. The reason why we need to remember that light and darkness are meant to be together is that we need each of them to remember our purpose. They both exist with each other and cannot be separated. Only through darkness can you see the light, and through light, you can see darkness. To truly experience something, you need something to compare it to.
